Legacy Forward Steps
The Legacy Forward Step Curriculum was written a long time ago, but its foundational lessons are timeless. The first four steps comprise My Special Place. Under each step name, you will find the student lesson workbook and the teacher instruction packet. The following five steps comprise Fit for the King, a set of lessons designed for preteen and teenage girls. The Fit for the King lessons are designed to be self-taught with a counselor providing only supervision and support, so these steps do not have a teacher guide.

Completion Awards
Charm Bracelets - All Forward Steps
In years past, GMA would award pins to girls upon completing a Forward Step. Now, we use a more customizable system that is easy for girls to wear any time: charm bracelets! With the completion of each Forward Step, a girl’s counselor or group leader should select a charm similar to the ones shown below and add it to the girl’s existing GMA charm bracelet, which is awarded at the completion of the Maiden step, along with the first charm.
Leaders may also consider adding a charm with a girl’s initials or other unique charm to differentiate girls’ bracelets from one another.
